Who We Are?

Padlink is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to ​empowering women through access to safe and affordable menstrual ​products. We believe that no woman should have to choose between ​basic needs and her dignity. Our mission is to break barriers, raise ​awareness, and provide sustainable solutions for menstrual health ​through donations, education, and community initiatives.

Our team is made up of passionate young leaders who are committed ​to making a difference. Founded by Catherine Yang, Padlink brings ​together students, activists, and volunteers who share a vision of ​gender equality and health equity. From organizing charity sales to ​spreading awareness about menstrual health, our team works tirelessly ​to create real change. Together, we are building a network of support​—one link at a time.

Catherine Yang

Hi, I'm Catherine Yang, the founder of Padlink. As a passionate ​fencer, I'm used to fighting for what I believe in—and when it ​comes to women's rights and health, I’m all in! I started Padlink ​because I wanted to do something about the fact that so many ​women face period poverty and don’t have access to safe ​menstrual products.

It just didn’t sit right with me. So, I decided to step up and make ​a change! Whether it's organizing charity sales or spreading the ​word about menstrual health, I’m always on a mission.

I might be in a school uniform by day and a fencing uniform by ​night, but my goal is always the same: empower women and break ​down the barriers that hold us back. Let’s link together for a ​better future!

Chelsea Xue

My name is Chelsea, and I am currently a grade 11 student. I have the ​privilege of being the Program Manager for our team, where I ensure ​everything runs smoothly and efficiently (or at least try my best!).

One of my biggest aspirations—aside from excelling in my role—is to ​someday reach Catherine’s height. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, ​genetics does not seem to be on my side. But I remain hopeful!

Outside of my responsibilities, I have a deep love for animals. Whether ​it’s learning about them, taking care of them, or simply admiring ​them, animals bring me endless joy. If you ever need someone to talk ​about pets, wildlife, or anything animal-related, I am always happy to ​chat!

I’m excited to contribute to our team and look forward to working ​with all of you!

Fundraising Coordinator

Nicole Kwong

Hello, I am Nicole Kwong, the fundraising coordinator of Padlink. My ​favourite hobby is dancing because I really enjoy be free and dance ​what I like, I can do some chill dances or dances that require lots of ​energy.

However, I am putting all my energy when it’s something related to ​woman’s right. I am here as a member of Padlink to help women, fight ​for our rights, change the labels on women in today‘s society and solve ​the problem of gender stereotypes. Since many women are afraid to ​stand up for themselves, this make me more passionate about fighting ​for us.

Even though I’m just a student, that didn‘t stop my determination. ​Let’s fight for our better futures together.
